A tribute to Burt Reynolds on his death, on ET on KPRC Local 2, 9/7/18. In the video he was carrying his child on his laps:

Identifying with his feeling, and immediately after watching it, I called Ofu who came running. I sat him on my lap and said, “I can’t hug, kiss and tell you ‘I love you’ enough. I love you.

Ofu: “I love you too, dad.”

Handling him the bottle of water on the table, I said: “pour it on me.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ofu: (Surprised) “I’ll pour just a little.” I bowed my head and he poured a few drops on it. He smiled and went off, pondering over dad’s amazing love (I imagined).

Rest in peace, Burt Reynolds! The little piece that I watched about your fatherhood gave me and my son furtherance in our bonding this day, thank you! Prayers and thoughts are with his family.
