Ofu: “Dad! What are you and mom doing eating, talking, and looking at each other?” (Yelling from out of direct sight. He didn’t come close, and we were unaware that he was observing us)

Me: “Because that’s what we do when we eat.”

I’m hoping that even in unguarded moments we will continue to inspire our children. Even when they can’t express it as such, let them do so by being inquisitive. I pray he saves what he’s seen in his hard drive! It will become a reference point someday!
